What Do You Have?

What do you have? God has amazing potential in each of us and it is our responsibility to do something with it!

Jesus talks about this in the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30). He commands us to do something with what we have. In the Parable, the master gives the same praise to the two who did something with what was given to them.

Although they were given different amounts of talent they received the same praise - "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!"

The man who did nothing with the talent given to him the master called him wicked and lazy. Does that seem too harsh? I don't think so. God demands we do something with the time, talents, and treasure that He gives us.

Jesus asked the disciples the same question when he was about to feed the 5,000 - What do you have? They provided five loaves of bread and two fish then Jesus did something amazing with it. We provide the natural and God provides the supernatural.

It is our responsibility to do something with what has been given to us, then God shows up and does what only He can do!

What do YOU have? Time, money, athletic ability, artistic, smart, creative, good with children, etc.

Do something with it!
