Here are some more questions for the Dream Test. You can read the first two from yesterday's post.
Will your dream fail without God? This is about the size of your dream. We dream too small many times. We seem to forget how huge and powerful God is! One of my favorite verses from Scripture is Ephesians 3:20 - "God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to His power that works in us." God is able! One of the things we have prayed often during the launch of Elevate Church is "God, we will sink without you." I constantly feel like I am in over my head which leads me to depend upon God rather than my own abilities.
I want to look back years from now and people to say I know Kevin and there is no way that happened without a miracle of God. I don't want people to be able to explain it because you can't explain the supernatural when it happens!
Does your dream keep you up at night? If you are dreaming big, trust me you will have some sleepless nights. The burden of the task or the overwhelming weight of what needs to happen will keep you up and many times drive you to your knees to pray about it. There have been many nights where I wake up with an idea, can't sleep because I am thinking about how we can reach more people, or thinking about a message or upcoming series. I actually started sleeping with a journal by my bed so I can write things down when they come to my mind while laying in bed.
Many times it will truly seem like you eat, sleep, and breath the vision. Does it consume you? Is it burning in your heart? I say pity the person who doesn't search for or have experienced that type of dream or vision for their lives.
