How Big Is Your God?

Your answer to that question truly determines your destiny. I am convinced that those who truly believe that God is huge, dream bigger dreams and live bigger lives than those who have a small view of God.

Mark Batterson has said "It is time to stop creating God in YOUR image and let God create YOU in His image."

Too often we minimize God to about the size of what our tiny brains can comprehend but listen to these verses:

Isaiah 55:8-9 says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Maybe the problem is not God but your perception of God. There is nothing too difficult for Him! (Jeremiah 32:17) He created the entire universe by speaking it into existence (Psalm 33:6). It wasn't hard for Him. He didn't need any help from me or you.

He is the One who put billions of stars in the sky and knows each one by name (Isaiah 40:26). God is bigger than your biggest problem, He is bigger than your worst failure, and He is bigger than your current circumstance.
