Sunday Reflections

Here are some Sunday Reflections...
  • Today was week two in our Chase The Lion series. The topic was Facing Fears.
  • It was good to be back and see some Elevate people.
  • Jesus wants to recondition our fears for faith and courage.
  • The story of grace that Jesus demonstrated to Peter in John 21 is amazing.
  • I am thankful that Jesus forgives!
  • Peter messed up BUT Jesus doesn't give up!
  • We have too many half Christians. People who run from what's wrong but they don't chase what is right. It's time to start chasing God-sized dreams.
  • Every opportunity is God's gift to you. What you do with that opportunity is your gift to God.
  • How big is your God? Turning your fear into faith is about realizing God is bigger than your biggest problem, worst failure, or current circumstance.
  • Jeremiah is finally potty-trained! I am glad there hasn't been any more accidents. :-)
  • I kind of felt like I was off a little today.
  • Thankfully Jeremy wasn't. He brought it. It was a great time of worship.
  • I love that song "I Have Decided." I like taking old hymns and kind of revising them a little for today.
  • I met a few new people. Two people came because of our mailer. It blows my mind that people are still coming because of a mailer that we sent out months ago.
  • I miss my wife and kids! It is too quiet around the house.
  • We start our Lion Chasers group this Friday morning. We had a few more sign up today. It is going to be awesome!
