Random Friday

Here are some random Friday thoughts:

• It is the first week in our You Asked For It series this Sunday! You can get the details here. It is going to be a great series.

• Susan's parents are in town this weekend. Our kids always love visits from the grandparents!
• I am ready for Baseball to be over. That means football season in full swing and basketball season is starting. It is my favorite time of the year!
  
• My birthday is in November. Someone asked me recently how old I was and I couldn't remember!
• My wife and I are planning a trip to Hawaii for our ten year anniversary. It's not until August 2011 but we like to go ahead and dream. :-)
• Tony Morgan had some good thoughts from interview about volunteers here and here.
• Speaking of volunteers, Mark Waltz had a great post that everyone leading volunteers needs to read about scheduling.
• I loved the Church Growth Lessons from Herbert Cooper of Peoples Church in Oklahoma. Read it! Really great stuff.
